Doll family crest

The Doll Family Crest, now in the museum collection, once adorned the gateposts at the start of a grand driveway to the long-demolished Hadham Towers.

Built as his family home in 1901 by Charles Fitzroy Doll, a celebrated architect, it is rumoured to have been built as a Calendar House with features that correlate to the number of days in a week or months in a year and so on.

One of his most notable commissions was to design the First-Class Dining Rooms on the ill-fated Titanic.

Luxurious food is still on the menu today in The Hadhams thanks to Just Add Parsley, who provide Fine Dining experiences in your own home.
